Youth Programs strives to make a difference in the lives of our community’s children. We employ highly-trained, professional paid staff and volunteers who embrace quality and establish high standards for the effective delivery of recreational and educational services for boys and girls ages 4-18. Exceptional partnerships have also been created to maximize community resources and enhance opportunities. We encourage new ideas and welcome your participation.

YOUTH AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS
RAP (Recreation Afterschool Program): This after school program is offered at six different elementary school sites: Adams, Franklin, Monroe, Open Alternative, Washington and Roosevelt. Teamwork through sports in YouthFREE Junior High Afterschool Sports & Enrichment Programs: The City of Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara High School District collaborate with local groups such as PAL and Club West to offer after school sports and special interest clubs and classes to junior high students at Santa Barbara, La Colina, La Cumbre and Goleta Valley Jr. High Schools. Please check back here or with your school in August 2009 for upcoming fall programs.

 
A-OK! Program (Afterschool Opportunities for Kids): Participation is based on recommendation of school’s administration. Participating schools are Adams, Franklin, Harding, Cleveland and McKinley. Program is offered at elementary school sites from 2-6pm. This after-school educational and enrichment program provides opportunities for academic growth, encouragement and development in a multitude of areas. Sports: Free elementary afterschool sports program, soccer, archery, doggone fun
